Approved provider by the California Department of Public Health for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) in the State of California.

CNA Certificate Renewal

CNAs are required to accumulate 48 hours of in-service training/ CEUs within 2-year certification period
A minimum of 12 of the forty-eight 48 hours shall be completed in each year of the 2-year certification period
A maximum of 24 of the forty-eight 48 hours may be obtained only through a CDPH-approved online computer training program

HHA Certificate Renewal

HHAs must obtain 24 hours of In-service training/ CEUs within the certification period
12 of the 24 hours are required in each year of the 2-year certification period (HHAs may not use online CEUs to meet the renewal requirement)

The Process

Complete the required CEU courses
Fill in the following forms
Renewal Application (CDPH 283C)
CNA/ HHA In-Service CEU Training
Attach the certificates of completion for renewal validation.
Submit the package to the California Department of Public Health.
